We operate in the Netherlands, Spain and Belgium from our offices in Breda, Valencia, Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp. Our infrastructure team provides expertise and know-how to the largest infrastructure projects in Belgium such as the Oosterweel link in Antwerp, the R4 in Ghent and the R0 in Brussels. Since July 2019, Infranea has been part of VK architects+engineers. Together, we have the ambition to be a visionary gamechanger in full lifecycle design. Structural Engineer/junior/Medior/Senior
We want to strengthen our teams in Antwerp and Breda with a few Structural Engineers/ constructors. For this we are looking for both medior profiles (5 -10 years experience) and senior profiles (+10 years experience)
Function
- You are responsible for the structural design of small-scale works of art in the Benelux.
- You translate the requirements and preconditions into a constructive design and take care of the calculations.
- In collaboration with the modellers, you take care of the elaboration of the design in models and drawings.
- In consultation with a senior constructor, you look at the possibilities to arrive at an economically sound design from different variants.
- You work from your own offices or at a project location.
Profile
- A relevant education in, for example, Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management & Engineering
- Interest in structural engineering and the approach of integrated projects.
- Meticulous working method, quality-oriented and sufficiently stress-resistant.
- Good team spirit, communicative and eager to learn.
- A good knowledge of the Dutch language. Knowledge of French or English is an added value.
- Knowledge of calculations of concrete and steel structures in accordance with the Eurocodes.
- Preferably you have knowledge of calculation software such as SCIA-Engineer, Sofistik and IDEA Statics or a willingness to train quickly
